Chengdu is the capital and the most populous city in Sichuan Province, located in southwestern China.

The city is fairly warm throughout the year and has high relative humidity. It is mostly known for pandas and its tasty and spicy food, which attracts foodies from all over the world. While in modernized Chengdu there are still many miles of bustling back streets to explore: free markets, flea markets, peddler markets, commercial districts, underground shopping malls. And what's more, the countless tiny restaurants specializing in Sichuan snacks, myriads of teahouses scattered everywhere... You are looking at one of China's most intriguing cities.

Food has no national boundaries, now more and more local Chengdu people like Western food. Kuanzhaixiangzi 宽窄巷子

Very nice place with lots of (expensive) tea houses, restaurants and local snacks. Great for relaxing. Streets date from late Qing-dynasty style but are rebuilt recently. Free government wifi in this place. There are also Sichuan opera performances and tickets are available on site. One feature worth mentioning is the art form of “ear cleaning”. Experienced practitioners can clean your ears using long and short needles in no time.

Wuhouci Temple武侯祠

This temple is built for commemorating Zhuge Liang, he is minister of Shu in Three Kingdoms Period. He is famous through the Chinese novel Romance of the Three Kingdoms. The gardens are attractive, but not extensive. It is next to Jinli Ancient Street

Jinsha Archaeological Site金沙遗址

Recently discovered site featuring various tools and art pieces from around 3,000 years ago. The amount of unearthed items is just massive. They include pottery, blades, jade items, building foundations and various golden art pieces. There are two main buildings: the hall constructed over the center of the excavation site and the modern exhibition hall with various artifacts on display.

At the top of the list of the Eight Major Cuisines in China, the cooking of Sichuan cuisine has enjoyed a long history,with date back to the late Third Century B,C. With a history of thousands of years, the influence of Sichuan cuisine should not be undersimated. The classic Sichuan cuisine could be seen everywhere at home and abroad, such as Mapo tofu, Kung Pao chicken, Pork Lungs in Chili Sauce, Twice-cooked Pork Slices and Boiled Pork Slices in a Fiery Sauce.

In Chengdu, in addition to all delicious foods from each cuisine in China, Mexican food, Turkish cuisine, Indian cuisine, Japanese food, Korean cuisine, etc. from each country in the world are available, even in fast-food chains. Chengdu Meishi International School (CMIS)

Chengdu Meishi International School was established by Chengdu Meishi Culture Co.,Ltd, which is a branch of Shenzhen Meishi Group.
